This kitchen tool can help you get past a weight loss plateau, shed the last ten pounds, and transform your cooking forever.
I cooked the best seasoned garlic sweet potato fries of my life in the most low-calorie way possible. Yea, they were quite drool worthy if I do say so myself. If you’re like me and want easy, fast, healthy ways to make food during the work week, you need this tool!
If you are looking for a quick, efficient, and healthy solution to cooking, especially to shed the last ten pounds, this post is for you.
What’s this magical device? The air fryer of course!
So why now? Why do I bring this up?
Well, it’s quite simple, Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales are coming up and I just had to tell you all about this super handy, super easy, lean machine of a kitchen gadget.
The air fryer is one kitchen tool you should really consider if you’re looking to build healthy lifestyle habits. Cooking can be a pain. Cooking for weight loss is even harder.
See, to shed the last ten pounds, you must reduce your caloric intake below what you’d consume in a day, on a steady basis. Most recipes call for added oils to cooking, because food tastes better with fat (oil = fat). Added oils lead to a higher amount of calories consumed each day. The air fryer solves the problem of needing oil for food to taste good.
When you cook with an air fryer, you reduce the need to add oils, thereby, reducing your overall caloric intake.
I don’t normally write posts about one product but the air fryer is a big deal in my kitchen and I feel that strongly about it.
See, when you live a healthy lifestyle, it means you gotta buy and prepare your own food most of the time.
Unless you can afford a meal prep service done for your every meal, I recommend buying and cooking your own whole, real foods in their most natural form from your local grocery store.
So that means cooking…
However, I understand if you hate me for saying that because food prepping, waiting for food to cook, and then the dreaded clean-up, is enough to say, “peanut butter and jelly it is.”
I get it.
But there’s hope to even the most cooking-averse. There’s a tool out there to help you create delicious, wholesome, healthy meals without breaking your back or the bank.
To help you busy working professionals shed the last ten pounds, you need an air fryer!
I love this tool more than anything else in my kitchen to help my anti-cooking, cooking self eat better daily.
I bought my air fryer during the Black Friday in July sales event Amazon had. I have to say, it was the best decision for my waistline and low-maintenance cooking philosophy.
If there’s one purchase you make for Black Friday/Cyber Monday for your health, let it be the air fryer. A great appliance at a great price. Need I say more?
Why an air fryer?
An air fryer is a kitchen appliance specifically designed to give the texture of deep frying (crunchy on the outside, soft and steamy on the inside) without the added oil.
Seriously, the food cooked in an air fryer is delicious!
When you use less oil, it means less calories ingested. Less calories from fat means you are eating cleaner and healthier overall. AKA better for the waistline. Get over that weight loss plateau.
Hello skinny jeans!
Bottom line, if you want to eat healthy, save on calories, make cooking a breeze, and clean-up even easier, you need the air fryer.
Go get it.
The best part? Air frying means healthy french fries, crunchy veggies, or crispy shrimp, all without the added calories, YUM!
And we love a good low-cal take on a yummy treat.
The air fryer is…
The EASIEST appliance to cook with.
Easy to clean.
Great for reheating foods (move over toaster oven).
Not noisy.
Safe. It has built in safety precautions so you don’t burn yourself or drop the basket.
Basically an efficient oven on your counter.
The foods you can make with an air fryer
(Ok basically anything but these are my faves)
SWEET POTATO FRIES
French fries
Potato wedges
Eggplant
Butternut squash
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Green beans
Asparagus
Onions (crispy onions)

Many people also use an air fryer to cook:
Chicken wings
Chicken thighs

Most children’s foods i.e. chicken fingers, fish sticks
Reheating ANYTHING

My recommendation on size
Get a bigger air fryer than you think you need. Here’s the deal. When you air fry, you can’t have food stacked to the full depth of the basket. In fact, I place about one layer ONLY of food in my air fryer per cooking batch.
When you stack food on top of each other, it creates steam. The steam will then infiltrate the cooking area, doing exactly the opposite of the air fryer’s intended purpose.
Steam will create mushy results. Air frying creates a crispy, crunchy outside and soft inside.
To sum it up…
The air fryer is a great kitchen tool to support your health goals. The calories you’ll save cooking with this device alone can save thousands of calories per year. Those add up! Calories from added cooking fats are often the most unnecessary calories that lead to weight gain. Get the air fryer at the best price you’ll find during Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales. Enjoy your favorite foods in a new crispy, convenient way.
Enjoy!
