Anyone else love traveling but hate the flight? I try to do what yoga tells me and get comfortable being uncomfortable during long flights but I’ll tell ya, it’s a challenge every time. Between back-aches or having to pee every hour, to the person next to you taking over the armrest, hello? I am in the middle seat?!
I am the type of person who can’t sit still and cannot deal with discomfort. I’m like the best travel partner really… lol.
The first thing I want to do when I get off the plane is move my body. Do yoga, go for a jog, HIIT workout, anything to break a sweat and get my blood pumping.
I know it’s tempting to order that drink on the plane and just chill and enjoy vacation. However, I always know I’ll feel better if I power through, staying hydrated, because then I’ll have the energy to do a mini workout once I get to my destination.

We landed in Kauai the other week and I did just that. Guess what, we used points and flew first class and I STILL didn’t have a drink. No thanks to free drinks? Not like me at all.. But I was proud and celebrated by doing what I love, getting my sweat on.
My post plane start of vacay workout:
Four rounds for time
10 burpees
20 pushups
30 walking lunges
40 air squats
No breaks or pausing unless you need to. Then get right back after it.
This workout is super convenient to do anytime anywhere. No excuses.
Next time your in a hotel room or Airbnb or maybe just visiting your folks, try this workout! It takes 15 minutes of your life and you’ll be sooo thankful you did.
