Home Products
Cooking:
- Use glass instead of plastic – Remove plastic storage containers. We like to use these food containers.
- Use parchment paper instead of foil for baking
- Stop using the microwave – this is creating electromagnetic radiation, get an air fryer (no teflon), small convection oven, or use the skillet more often to heat up food.
- Coffee – stop using instant coffee devices such as Keurig or Nespresso. These are leaching microplastics from those pods and are often full of mold inside. I call these small poison appliances. Instead I like a french press, small one-cup pour over, Chemex, or this 8-cup machine.
- Cast iron, carbon steel, and stainless steel cookware
- Get rid of all Teflon or non-stick cookwear – these are linked to cancer.
Cleaning:
Recommend using vinegar, water, and essential oils or Branch Basics creates healthy home products.
- Bathroom (all-purpose cleaner)
- Kitchen
- Floors
- Windows
- Laundry
- Tissues without fragrance or additives
Candles:
- 100% Soy candles with essential oils
- No Fragrance / parfum / synthetics
- EC3 candles recommended
