Take the food freedom quiz to determine if you have an unhealthy relationship with food.
Are you tired of feeling guilty about the foods you eat? Are you curious to know if you have a healthy relationship with food? If so, you may want to take the food freedom quiz.
The food freedom quiz is a tool designed to help individuals assess their relationship with food. It can help you determine whether you have a healthy relationship with food or whether you may need to make some changes to your eating habits. In this blog post, we’ll explain what the food freedom quiz is, how it works, and why you should consider taking it.
What is the Food Freedom Quiz?
The food freedom quiz is a short questionnaire that helps you assess your relationship with food.
The food freedom quiz consists of 12 true/false questions that evaluate how you think about and approach food.
How Does the Food Freedom Quiz Work?
The food freedom quiz is designed to be a self-assessment tool. Once you answer the questions, you’ll receive a score that will help you determine your level of food freedom.
The scoring system is based on a scale from 0-12. A score of 7-12 indicates that you may have an unhealthy relationship with food, while a score of 2-6 suggests that you have some room for improvement. A score of 0-1 indicates that you have a healthy relationship with food and are free from food guilt and anxiety.

Mark true or false for each of the following:
- You constantly try to eat under a certain number of calories
- You have guilt eating “treat foods”
- You feel like you can’t go out to eat in the middle of the week because it’ll ruin your plan
- You start over every Monday with your diet
- You think about your next meal just as you finish one
- You restrict food in the morning leading up to a social event in the evening
- You restrict foods then binge later
- You cancel plans because you don’t trust yourself around that type of food/drink
- You crash diet to drop 5 lbs before vacation (and typically gain it back while on the trip)
- You spend a lot of time worrying about what to eat or how much
- You don’t trust yourself at parties around food
- You workout to “earn” your food
If you said “true” to more than 7 of these it’s time to start your healing toward a better relationship with food.
Is this you?
I’ve been there, done that 🙋♀️🤦♀️
I can remember it like it was yesterday, eating breakfast and strategizing how I’d avoid the 2PM sugar cravings, the crash diets before a trip, and feeling endless guilt about going out to eat on a Wednesday (that was when I was supposed to be eating 1500 calories).
I’d start over every Monday and just tell myself – “If you just stay strong enough through the weekends you’ll get to your goals!”
But it never worked.
It all changed when I learned how to use food as fuel instead of a fat loss mechanism.
See I was constantly eating to lose weight/fat. I wanted to lean out and tone up.
The internet told me a calorie deficit is the only way to do that so there I was week after week trying to eat 1200-1500 calories a day to drop weight.
My relationship with food went further and further into a dark place I now deem the “mental food prison.”
I created hyper-restricted food rules and if I veered off plan I was a major failure. (Which did a number on my confidence)
But it all changed when I learned what I really needed. For me – my body.
Everyone’s needs are different. Working with coaches over the years has given me the tools to understand what I need to fuel myself, to be satisfied, full, burn stubborn fat and build muscle.
So yes, I’m more “toned” at 36 than 26 and eating more food on a daily basis THAT’S freedom 🙌
And my methods have helped more than just me. For example my clients,
- Sydnie lost 9 inches in 5 weeks eating more
- Amy lost 12 inches in 4 weeks and hasn’t gotten a migraine in 3 weeks
- Dina had to buy a new belt and fitting into old clothes
- Rachel is sizing down in all her clothes and maintained 13lbs and 15″ loss over a year (hello sustainability)
- Nicole lost 10 lbs in 3 months and is now getting pull ups 👊
Cheers to these women and many more inside Health Habit Society crushing their goals and creating balanced healthy nutrition lifestyles.
- No more food rules
- No more restricting
- No more guessing
- No more stressing
